Almost done!

We are in March and mommy is almost done with this third pregnancy!! We are expecting our newest addition hopefully the last week of March even though she is due on April 6th. I just hope that she can work around April 2nd b/c that is mommy and daddy's anniversary and we really should have a day to ourselves, shouldn't we?

This winter has been good to us but we are ready to get outside and play! The girls are going to Tutor Time 3 times a week and 2 a week to Grandma Davis and Great Grandma Johnson. Emmanuel finished up her soccer class and we are going to sign up for basketball next (soccer again outside in the spring). Is it too much to hope that at least one of my girls plays basketball? Grandpa Johnson is hoping for the next (female) Tiger Woods so we will see.

Be on the look out for the next posting in April because there will be pictures of the new baby!

Enjoy your March Madness.

Soccer and Winter Wonderland

We were very excited to have our first day of soccer on January 10th...the real reason mom had children was to watch them play sports! We got Emmanuel some shorts, a top and some in-door soccer shoes and went out hoping for the best. Emmanuel had been practicing her kicks with her Nintendo Wii and but was surprised when we actually go there (I think she was expecting a large Nintendo game).

She started off strong with her, "red light/green light" sprint game and kicking back and forth between mommy and daddy, but towards the end she was getting a little restless. We were very surprised at how well Jordan did with the soccer ball. She got right out there and kicked it up and down the field...long live PEPE!! We have 8 weeks at High Velocity and then we may sign up for the basketball league. It was so good to see all those young girls out early in the morning playing sports! LONG LIVE WOMEN ATHLETICS.

We got a lot of snow this past week so we took advantage and used Grandma Davis' birthday present (sled) and took the girls out. Daddy was sure to put on 5 layers of Vaseline on their faces. They really enjoy being outside and had a great time being pulled while daddy got his workout in.
